As we embark on a new academic year at Vilas School District, I am excited to join you as your Principal and Counselor. I bring 15 years of experience as a teacher and administrator in Texas, Florida, and Arkansas. This diverse background has given me a broad educational perspective and a deep commitment to fostering student success. I am in awe of Vilas School District Staff and their dedication to providing guidance, resources, and support to help students thrive.
My mantra is simple: Strive for Excellence. Every student has the potential to achieve greatness, and it is our collective responsibility to help them realize their full potential. I expect students to approach their studies with dedication, determination, and a growth mindset. Personal responsibility and respect are fundamental values that foster a positive and inclusive environment.
On a personal note, I am also a parent. Sami, my 2-year-old daughter, has added another layer of passion to my work in education. Being a mother gives me a deep appreciation for the trust you place in our school district.
The 2024-2025 school year will be filled with opportunities for growth, achievement, and memorable experiences. Let us embrace challenges and celebrate successes together.
I look forward to meeting you and wish you a remarkable school year ahead!
